Most Pennsylvania benefits are available through the Compass website.  The following is a discussion of many of the types of benefits available to Berks County residents, along with the addresses and forms that need to be filed in connection with such claims.

You can apply for unemployment compensation benefits by filling out an application which you can obtain here.  The finished application should be mailed to the following address:

For all Pennsylvania residents, there are a variety of benefits available to you through the Department of Human Services, including cash assistance, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance and health coverage, all of which are described in more detail here. You can apply for these benefits through the Compass web site, which can be accessed here.  You can also fill out an application for benefits, which you can access by clicking here.  Once you have filled out the form, bring the completed form to your County Assistance Office (CAO) at the address set forth below:
