This is Greg Boles with another tip on handling the insurance company evaluation.  The actual physical examination part of an insurance company exam can take as little as 5 to 15 minutes.  This is the part of the examination where injured workers most often make the mistake of exaggerating their symptoms.  While every person is different, the tests that the doctor performs during this part of the examination, are designed to cause particular symptoms.  If you say that you have symptoms, and those symptoms are not supposed to be associated with the test that the doctor performed, the doctor is going to note that in his report.  The judge may later find that you were exaggerating or making up symptoms.  So make sure you are accurate when you speak to the insurance company doctor.
